Sender ID registration requirements

To register for traffic in Denmark, please provide the following information. While registration is not mandatory, it is recommended as it helps prevent fraud by ensuring that only approved SMS gateways can send traffic with a registered sender ID.

Registration is possible but not required. Specific requirements may include a business license and other documentation.

Pricing varies: contact Sales for current sender ID registration rates.

International numeric sender ID pricing for Telenor Denmark

Telenor Denmark has applied additional pricing for SMS messages sent using international numeric sender IDs, also known as long numbers, since March 1, 2025.

For most customers, this has no impact. If you send SMS messages to Denmark using a foreign phone number as the sender ID, for example +4912345678, additional pricing applies.

This is an additional cost on top of the normal SMS traffic price. The additional pricing only applies to SMS messages delivered to end users on the Telenor Denmark network.

Additional pricing

SMS to Telenor Denmark with an international numeric sender ID: +0.235 DKK per SMS

Examples:

  • SMS to Telenor Denmark with +4912345678 as sender ID will have an additional cost of 0.235 DKK per SMS.
  • SMS to Telenor Denmark with +4512345678 as sender ID will not have additional cost.
  • SMS to Telenor Denmark with "support" as sender ID will not have additional cost.
  • SMS to Telenor Denmark with 12345678 as sender ID will not have additional cost.

How to avoid additional pricing

To avoid additional pricing for international numeric sender IDs, you can:

  • Use an alphanumeric sender ID, such as your company or brand name
  • Use a Danish long number as the sender ID

If you need to receive replies from end users, LINK Mobility can provide Danish long numbers. Incoming SMS messages can be forwarded to you via API or email.
