Sender ID Registration Requirements

From July 2025, unregistered Sender IDs in Ireland will be changed to “Likely-Scam”, but traffic will still be delivered.

Please make sure traffic goes through CGI and that legitimate clients are registered, choosing LINK as their OPA.

Clients must register themselves via ComReg:
https://senderid.comreg.ie/

Unregistered senders will be labeled as ‘Likely-Scam’ beginning July 2025, but their traffic will still be delivered. Ensure registration with ComReg to prevent issues.

Steps to register a Sender ID in Ireland via ComReg

1. Check whether the Sender ID is already registered

First, check if the Sender ID is already registered:

https://senderid.comreg.ie/

Click Sender ID Search, enter the Sender ID, and press Enter.
If the Sender ID is registered, the details will appear in the table.

Clients should verify if their sender ID is already registered before proceeding with the registration process.

The registration process takes about 2-3 working days. Plan accordingly to avoid delays.

2. Sign up to register a Sender ID

If the Sender ID is not registered, click Sign-up.

Additional information for partners and resellers

Partners and resellers must ensure that their customers are aware that the end customer, as the actual sender of the message, is responsible for the use, accuracy, and registration of the Sender ID. This includes ensuring that all required registrations, approvals, and supporting documentation are completed in accordance with applicable local requirements before traffic is sent.

LINK Mobility does not register Sender IDs on behalf of partners’ or resellers’ customers, unless otherwise agreed. LINK Mobility may provide support to partners and end customers throughout the registration process. Responsibility for providing correct information, obtaining any required approvals, and complying with mandatory Sender ID registration processes remains with the end customer. Partners and resellers should inform their customers of these obligations before sending traffic to destinations where Sender ID registration is mandatory.
