Sender ID registration requirements

There is no requirement for registration for this destination, nor is it possible to register.

International numeric sender ID pricing for Telenor Norway

Telenor Norway has applied additional pricing for SMS messages sent using international numeric sender IDs, also known as long numbers, since March 1, 2025.

For most customers, this has no impact. If you send SMS messages to Norway using a foreign phone number as the sender ID, for example +4512345678, additional pricing applies.

Telenor Norway also applies additional pricing for certain national numeric sender IDs.

Additional pricing

• SMS to Telenor Norway with an international numeric sender ID: +0.34 NOK per SMS
• SMS to Telenor Norway with a national numeric sender ID: +0.04 NOK per SMS

The national numeric sender ID pricing does not apply to sender IDs in these number ranges:

• +475944xxxx
• +475958xxxx
• +479150xxxx
• +474176xxxx

Examples:

• SMS to Telenor Norway with +4512345678 as sender ID will have an additional cost of 0.34 NOK per SMS.
• SMS to Telenor Norway with +4712345678 as sender ID will have an additional cost of 0.04 NOK per SMS.
• SMS to Telenor Norway with +4759441234 as sender ID will not have additional cost.
• SMS to Telenor Norway with "support" as sender ID will not have additional cost.
• SMS to Telenor Norway with 12345678 as sender ID will not have additional cost.

How to avoid additional pricing

To avoid additional pricing for numeric sender IDs, you can:

• Use an alphanumeric sender ID, such as your company or brand name
• Use a Norwegian long number as the sender ID, where applicable

If you need to receive replies from end users, LINK Mobility can provide Norwegian long numbers. Incoming SMS messages can be forwarded to you via API or email.
